Having problems with your Air Conditioners ?

A lot of H2O and Alarm

\015 I never have to drain my unit until the end of summer but right after I cleaned my filters and drained the unit recently I've been having problems. It seems to run fine for about a half hour and then the alarm comes on. I then drain quite a bit of water out and then the alarm goes off. I turn it on and again runs fine for about a half hour and the same thing happens again. It's been going on for quite a few days. It hasn't been humid either just hot. Any ideas? Thanks!\015

Answers :

You may have a drain sensor problem. If your machanical you can try to tie the sensor together to see if this allows the unit to run, if so, replace the sensor.

My alarm is blinking and beeping. This AP077R unit has not been used for 2 years. I unscrewed the back but could not get it off so I put the screw back in and laid it on the front so I could clean the back. I then plugged it in and it ran for maybe 2 seconds and it shut off and the alarm light came on and it beeped. What's wrong? Thanks, Barry

DeLonghi CN120E alarm light signally to have the water drained every 10-15 minutes. I purchased a DeLonghi CN120 air conditioner the first week of July 2012 and have been using it maybe a few times a week since then. Last night the alarm light came on signalling a full tank. I drained the tank as instructed thru the single tube in the back, and decided to clean the filter while I was doing this. I also vacuumed the intake and output grills. I replugged the drain hole, put the filter back i

Water alarm is on. How do i drain. I think I need to hook up a hose in the back of the unit to drain but I don't know the procedure. There are three drains that look ike they would accept a hose, one high on the unit and two low ones. Can you tell me what to do to clear the alarm?

The hose is optional. If you are lucky enough to have a drain nearby, then route the hose downhill from any of the three holes on the back. But it won't pump the water uphill out a window. In that case, you will have to install the ginormous exter ... Danby DPAC120068 Air Conditioner
