I've been using this Danby Premiere DPAC11010 for months. There are no instructions for draining it, although it came with a drain spout and rubber hose. The sticker on the front says it doesn't need to be drained - the liquid cools the compressor. The troubleshooting guide says to drain it if a certain warning light goes on. I have a goldstar air conditioner model R0801E that starts spraying water from the fan outlet after it has run for approximately 1 hour. I am installing a unit owned by my son in his former home. I am unable to find the cable and plug. The closest I have come is a rubber electric cord (3/8" dia.) at the lower right corner. If this is the power connection it appears to have had the cord and plug pushed in beside the outer right casing and the compartment containing two vertical vanes. I have pulled on this with some success but I am afraid to go the last shot in case this is something other than the plug and cord. Help!!!!
