Having problems with your Air Conditioners ?

Water blows out of vent and collects at the bottom of the air conditioner, it does not seem to drain properly and I do have it slanted back to drain outside.

Answers :

I bought this lovely piece of sh*t for $200 dollars and it has done well over $200 worth of damage to the wood around the window and to the wall. We have to tip it backwards about twice a day to drain the water and it still drips out the front like crazy. I was unable to contact Haier at first and recieved automated responses on the phone and wasnt able to talk to an actual person. I gave up on that and lived with it for a few weeks and I finally got sick of it and spent about 45 minutes online looking for the phone number to contact them (I also found tons of complaints about this problem). So I decided I dont want this junk in my window and told Haier that on the phone. They told me to try to return it to the store I bought it at and if they wont take it back to call them again and they will have me cut the power cord and peel the stickers off and send that to them and they will send a replacement. THANKFULLY those idiots at Haier were dumb enough to put a decent warrenty on their faulty products. But I'm guessing those idiots are also dumb enough to send faulty products out as replacements too.
Check that the small pipe at bottom of drip tray is inserted corectly and is unblocked.also check that the freon gas level is correct.

We also have a unit that will not drain out the back, but pools in the front compartment instead. It builds up until the fan sprays it into the room, and drips into the living room floor. It doesn't seem to be getting to the back where it is supposed to drain at all, and yes, it its slanting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have an amana self evaporating portable ac for my 500sf condo. I have had to unhook it and roll it outside 4 times to drain it. Lately water is now spilling out the back vent on to my floor. What's the issue?

It appears to me that because of the small size of your condo, you are just recirculating the humidity in the apartment. The unit is condensing the moisture in the air and then reheating it in the pan causing it to evaporate back into the air. The ... Amana AP076E Portable Air Conditioner

My Bosch 2400E tankless water heater will ignite but immediately go back off. At first it worked but then built up condensate in the chamber. After drying it out and putting it back together it hasn't worked for a week. At first I failed to install the drain hose on the outlet side which probably caused the condensate problem. That has been remidied. The reason for not hooking up the drain on the main exhaust was because I used a vertical vent kit which has a drain on it. HELP Me Please.

My air conditioner evaporator housing appears to be clogged. The normal drain line goes to the sewer. When it is not draining properly, a back-up drain line coming from the same evaporator housing, drains to the pan (below the unit). Then the pan drains to a visible outlet on the roof (which signals the home owner that there is a problem). We noticed the roof drain line was draining last weekend, so we checked the pan under the evaporator unit, and it had water in it (which is not normal

If you are sure that it's not the line, you are going to need to get to the drain pan to clean it. Take the cover off (with power off) to access it. It's not that muchto get to it. Use a drill and a socket. Once you get in there you will ... Air Conditioners

On my LG window AC Md. LWHD1009R, I cannot find a drain hole to let the water out. The back bottom of the pan was filled water containing a rusty sludge, but the heat exchanger coils are aluminum, so it must come from another source.( I have a wooden shutter built over my windows because of hurricanes-nails? ) Is this unit supposed to drain, because I bent down one place to let the rusty sludge and water out. I have a unit in the attic and another part outside. I can stand inside under the ceiling vent and hear water running. When the unit cuts off, the water sound quits. I'm afraid something is not draining right. The drain pipe that leads to the outside is dripping a little. I've tried a shop vac to suction out any obstruction but it didn't help.

Sounds like your drain has sagged from the heat in the attic. It then backs up in the pan and sloshes around from the air moving. Get up there and see if that is the case, if so support the drain line so water runs freely to outside. This is an exper ... Air Conditioners

Air Conditioning I have a ruud system with the air conditioner outside and the air handler upstairs in the attic. My systems appears to be running, and I can feel cold air at the vents, but I can barely feel it. Like there is no flow. The fan outside is running and the unit in the attic is running. I just did - the water is not draining from my window unit but collecting inside - the drain hole at the back does not seem to be clogged but I can't see where the water is actually supposed to drain from

Hello, I have a Haier window AC unit that makes the worst noises- sounds like a crinckeling plastic bag is being beaten around inside. It seems to be water building up, but there is no drainage holes in the back for it to drain. How do I get rid of this noise? I've tried everything- it's been raining out a lot lately, does that have anything to do with it? I take it out and drain it, only to have the noise return after 15 minutes. Please help!
