Having problems with your Air Conditioners ?

I have a intertherm gas furance that won't ignite. the pilot light is on. the fan will come on about every 10 minutes.

It is probably one of the limit switches that need to be reset. There will be two wires that lead to a small disk about the size of a penny. In between those two wires is a small button. Press this button. Sometimes they can be stiff and you will need to press firmly. You could have as little as two but as many as 4 or 5. If the limit keeps tripping, then you will need to replace it unless the unit is getting too hot in that area.

RUUD heater The heater will run for about 20 to 30 minutes then it will cycle on and off. The igniter lights every time. It turns on the gas but only stays on for about 5 seconds then shuts off. The fan comes on for about 2 minutes then the cycle starts all over again.

Our furnace went into lock out and so I cycled powere and it reset it started working again but not correctly. The inducer motor wis coming on for a few minutes then the hot ignition comes on and the gas lights. then the blower comes on then shortly after the gas cycles off and then a few minutes later it cycles back on and usually the fan alternates on with the gas. I started checking the safety switches that go to hot ignition control. (24V) Once everything was running the 24V would drop to ze

Hi, you shouldn't smell any gas until the pilot flame is etablished. The sequence of operation is the small inducer motor will start on a call for heat, Then on the motor you should have a poly type tube, clear, that runs over to a pressure switch. I ... Air Conditioners

I HAVE A RUUD SILHOUETTE GAS FURNANCE. The pilot light keeps blowing out. When I light the pilot flame it seems to work perfectly at ignition. As the Manual instructs, I hold down the ignition switch for 30-60secs to keep the flame lit and then turn the gas switch to the on position. After watching the unit I have noted this happening - the furnance will begin the heat cycle sequence and pilot litghs all 4 burners correctly, the blower fan turns on, Heating starts. Hi , I have a Electronic pilot lighting system on my RUUD package unit. The pilot light flame keeps blowing out or is not working properly. I removed the panel to look and see what was wrong. I could not see any faults. The sparker worked just fine, the gas line tubing was fine no blockages( took it off to inspect it) every thing looked good. I am trying to find information on re-lighting my pilot light on my honeywell day and night furnace. I see switch for blower is off, pilot dial is on "pilot". Blowers not active and pilot light not lit. I think I just need to turn pilot dial to off to reset and leave for 5 minutes and turn back to "pilot" and re-light, before turning everything back on. I'm not sure where the gas is coming out of. Is it right above the dial. I have long matches to use. Please let me know. Thanks for you

RUDD Silhoette 2 model UGLH-10EBRJR ignitor won't ignite (glow). Exhaust fan comes on for about 30 sec. then the thing clicks, a small amount of gas emits then turns off, then the circulating fan comes in and runs cold for a while. I can light it manually 9with a lighter) and it runs OK until the house reaches temp but then, of course, it won't come back on unless I light it manually.

I have a sv9500m 2674 tha has a sticker that says it has been converted to L P gas. The ignitor lights the pilot and the fan comes on. The pilot stays lit and the main furnace fan comes on but the burner never fires. I have checked the electrical connections, cleaned the flame sensor that is on the ignitor (Q3400A1024) and cleaned the orafaces on the burner. I am thinking that the valve may be bad because the main furnace fan does activate which I assume is also controlled by the flame senso

Compressor problem? My outdoor unit comes on with the fan blowing just fine. Then I hear a buzzing sound for about 2-3 seconds which I believe is the compressor trying to come on. A 2 month old Goodman GMH95 natural gas furnace has been working properly until tonight.
