I have a sears forced-air furnace that automatically lights. It will go on when I first turn up the thermostat. It burns and produces heat for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then the burner goes out and it starts blowing cold air. At that point it goes into an endless cycle of the igniter firing, no gas being supplied to the burner, and then igniter firing again. I have changed the filters... Larry

I am trouble shooting a Bryant Hi-bred system that uses an air cooled heat pump with high efficiency gas furnace for backup and low ambient operation. How does the system decide whether to use the air cooled heat pump or the gas fired high efficiency furnace. It appears to be outdoor air temperature related, but I can't find the setpoint for it. The main zone Bryant thermostat appears to control the system, but it doesn't always bring the backup heat if the heat pump doesn't function.

Our Furnace doesnt seem to be working correct. We an: Air Pro BGM075128 and is Natural Gas. It will turn on when we turn up the thermostat.. but we never get any heat through the vents. There is a switch on the side that is "on" and one that is "fan". If we turn on the "fan" only cold air gets blown through. It looks like this is for cool air. So, if we leave the fan off and the "on" swith on, we get the furnace firing up, but no heat ever comes through the vents. I tested out the thermo

My son has a Goodman Manufacturer Corp Heat Pump/air conditioner. Forced air I believe. The air conditioner quit. A repairman indicated that in order to replace the air conditioner the furnace will have to be replaced also. The air conditioner unit outside is Model No. CPE30-1-AB. Any thoughts?

Furnace not firing: I have a Haier model HGA 080 N3H furnace that is blowing air but not igniting the burners.
