Blower fan keeps trying start

\015 When the A/C or furnace is on the blower fan surges like it want to kick in but won't. We currently have it turned off to prevent damage to the unit. Not sure if it may be the fan limit switch or the transformer with circuit board.\015

My compressor unit outside runs and cools Freon but the inside blower has a problem running. the model # is 2TEE3F31A1000AA. The fan control, in fan run control mode, shows a bright green for the fan LED and the CFM selection LED varies with the rotational speed of the fan. The motor tries to start showing , initially, a jerky back & forth movement. It squeaks some and may, or may not, start rotating. If it starts the CFM LED goes bright/on no flicker and the motor runs briefly (5 seconds) then

Had a PF code, unplugged the 4 pin probe connector and plugged it back in and fixes that problem until next PF code.....often. Ran perfect for a couple hours and turned it off for the night, when I restarted it the next morning the top blower works but the compressor nor the exhaust fan come on. I have emptied the tank, cleaned the filters, started and restarted, let sit for 10 minutes several times and tried again...compressor doesn't start nor the exhaust fan. The top blower works when on AC,

Seems alike the 24 V (coil) bobine in the contactor is not been energize. When I tried the 24 V outside with a 24 V surce it worked fine. Thank

I would replace the contactor if you are getting 24 volts to the contactor and it isn't engaging therefore the magneto on the contactor is out and the contactor will need replacement. If you don't have 24 volts at the contactor then the transformer ... Air Conditioners

The motor or blower wheel om my Goodman model GMP 100-4 unit whistles and sticks. How can I fix this? Can the motor or blower wheel be lubricated? Does the motor need to be replaced. If I manualy spin the blower wheel and get it turming some what and then start the unit by pressing the safty switch located behind the lower front panel the blower will start, the wheel fan will turn. I have a Carrier Gas Furnace Model # 395CAV024055ABJA, I works fine if you keep the temp low, like 68, so that it doesnt come on very often, but if you try turning it up and it needs to run for awhile, it wil start this cycle where the flame will kick on and off, the blower is continously running and only blowing cold air, I have tried new batteries in the thermostat on the wall, and have tried putting it on manual heat, no change, another thing is that once it starts this cycle, if you shut it

Blower motor stopped, there is a medium-loud ''electric buzz'' sound every minute or so as if trying to start the blower motor. Could be relay switch. Last week, I extracted the entire motor and fan assembly (the one in the bottom of the furnace that drives the air through the house duct system). The motor was pretty filthy, so I took the entire thing apart an blew out all the dust, cleaned up the motor, Zoom oiled the bearing assemblies at each end, put it all back together. Started up and ran

I HAVE A RUUD SILHOUETTE GAS FURNANCE. The pilot light keeps blowing out. When I light the pilot flame it seems to work perfectly at ignition. After watching the unit I have noted this happening - the furnance will begin the heat cycle sequence and pilot litghs all 4 burners correctly, the blower fan turns on, Heating starts. Rinnai energysaver 556 wt: When I try to start it, I can hear the fan turn on, I can smell the gas, I can hear what I guess is the pilot light working, but it won't light. It shuts down before it ignites over half of the time. I have to keep restarting it. If I get it going, it works continuously so long as the room stays above 70F. If the temp drops below that then I need to repeat the aggravating process of starting it up again. I cannot depend on it when setting it to anything below 70 degree

Goodman GMT045-3A Furnace. Furnace flue fan always on, glow plug hot, gas ignited, on for 20-30 seconds, click is heard, flame off, glow plug cools. Then cycle repeats over and over again. Sometimes blower comes on. Thermostat on 55, outside temp is 16 degrees. Taken flame sensor out and tried to polish it up. Did not have sand paper. Looks like there may be a crack in flame sensor side. I am thinking about replacing flame sensor as a start.

Check filter to see if it is plugged. Has someone installed a new thermostat? If so, it may not have been installed properly. Sand off sensor to make it shiny, and be sure all supply and return registers are uncovered. ... Air Conditioners

Turn the unit on, the fan runs, and when the compressor tries to start the fan slows down and the compressor will not run. After a few seconds the fan speeds back up. I put an amp meter on the compressor lead and when it tried to start I registeres 41 amps. Is this a compressor or capacitor problem?

Sounds like you have a bad capacitor, if it's not tripping the breaker it doesn't sound like the compressor is drawing LRA unless the breaker is oversized for the condenser. ... Air Conditioners
