\015 My themostat is flashing FF I have reset the furnace filter, turned off the power but still will not go away, unit seems to be working ok?\015

Answers :

Remove the tstat from all power sources for 3 or more hours to remove the short term memory and then reset the t-stat. The FF blinking doesn't affect the abilities of the unit.

The numbers on my Noma thermostat have started to flash. I don't see where there is a product number on this thermostat. I recently moved into this house and do not have an instruction manual. This is a programmable thermostat. I am not sure why the numbers are flashing, what it means and if this is something to be concerned about.

Janitrol (goodman) GMS9. Two years old. When thermostat is set low the ICM diagnostic LED is continuous on ("no signal from thermostat"), when thermostat is turned up then LED gives 3 flashes. Manual says that 3 flashes means "Pressure switch circuit not closed. Induced draft blower is operating", however the ID-Blower is NOT running. I ran a 110Volt wire directly to the ID-Blower to see if it runs independent of the control and it does run. I drew vacuum on both pressure switches and they do

I have a Drayton Digistat RF1 with SCR thermostat for my central heating which is about three years old now. It has worked well up to now, but has developed a problem. The red continuous light (alarm) on the SCR keeps appearing. When the thermostat sends a signal the red light flashes and then goes out and the green either appears or doesn’t depending on the thermostat setting (and the motorised valve for my heating opens – if green). However, after less than a minute the green goes out and

Honeywell thermostat T8400c started flashing, heat/cool was off. Display flashes all icons (heat and cooling icons, temperatures, everything) and on the oppposite flash, the setpoint is displayed. The fan comes on when turned to ''ON'' but heat or cool does not when in ''auto''. The compressor can be turned on outside at the switch, but appears to have no freon. Heating & cooling worked within 2 weeks prior to this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At least once a day I find the 'time' display flashing on at least 1 of the 2 thermostats, as if power was lost. I can't find anywhere in the manual as to why this happens. Regardless of weather the thermostats are calling for heat or not, or even if I shut the thermostats off completely the fan keeps running. the only way to stop the fan is to shutoff power to the furnace.
