GE ZONELINE: How do you take off the plastic fan on the inside, I've taken off the bolt but the fan blade does not slide off? Am I doing something wrong?

You may need a puller. Sometimes you can drive the blade off by using a drift pin to strike the shaft (carefully).

After using the Bionaire BSF1411AR-CN fan for 2 days, the fan blades no longer rotate. The fan speed indicator lights only blink. I have tried powering off and on, but that doesn't work. The oscillator partially works: it oscillates for about a 1/4 cycle before stopping. Is the fan motor burned out already, or is there something I can do to solve the problem?

My house will not cool. I have the thermostat set on 70, and it barely makes it to 75. Before I call my landlord and have him check it out, is it just because it is so hot outside (I live in AL and then temps have been in the 100s the last several days), or is there something wrong? There is an exhaust fan for the attic, and I keep the blinds closed all the time. Thanks!

Hi, I have an 1985 Chelsea attic fan. The motor is still working fine, and it is turning the main bolt on which the fan blades are hung. This main bolt turns very fast, at the speed of the motor. The fan blades start slowly, and they used to accelerate to full speed, but now they just stay at a slow speed. What could be the problem? Thanks, Joe

The leading part of my fan blades is higher than the trailing part. My understanding is that this is designed to push the air upward.
