A/c control wiring harness

\015 How can i get info to change my a/c control unit from manual to digital? i have a 02 maxima 3.5.\015

Answers :

Go buy a new thermostat and follow the directions in the package. The wires are pretty simple. R terminal is power, W is heat, Y is cool, G is fan, C is common. On a typical thermostat you will have all these with the exception of the C term. It will either be RC and RH with a jumper between them. Leave the jumper in if you don't have a 5 wire system. Make sure you lable your wires coming out of the wall because you don't want to have to open up the indoor unit to check them.

I have just replaced a Sunvic SP 100 Controller, with a Siemens RWB29 Controller, and find it is not working properly. It has been wired in correctly, according to the 'Change Over Wiring Diagram' supplied with the new Unit. However, when I turn either Hot Water, or Central Heating, on to 'Manual Overide', it comes on only for about 40 seconds, and then the Gas Fire goes out! Consequently, the Water or Heating NEVER GETS HOT! The Wiring has been checked by a qualified Electrician. W

Hi I have a Rinnai 1004. I asked a question before about clipping the temp gauge and adding a length of speaker wire in, so that it would get a more accurate 'room' temp reading. The reason for this is that I can't get to the controls to manually change the temp. I have a few other thoughts and want to know if anyone could add to the ideas: 1. Could I add that speaker wire to the 'control unit' and mount that in a more convienient place?? 2. Would a 'plug in' thermostat work?? Some
