Our furnace went into lock out and so I cycled powere and it reset it started working again but not correctly. The inducer motor wis coming on for a few minutes then the hot ignition comes on and the gas lights. then the blower comes on then shortly after the gas cycles off and then a few minutes later it cycles back on and usually the fan alternates on with the gas. I started checking the safety switches that go to hot ignition control. (24V) Once everything was running the 24V would drop to ze

I have a Arcoaire Gas Furnace (Model# GNJ100N12A1), that will not fire up. It has a White Rogers Digital Stat. First the Stat seems to be faulty, since it reads 70plus in a house that has a temp of 30 or below. I can adjust the Stat and the blower motor will run. The rollouts (3) were reset; the inducer fan would run; then the unit would cycle and shut off. Now the inducer won't run. The ignitor is good, but would never glow. A friend tested the current coming from the Stat, and found 24

Have a Payne pg8uaa furnace. Furnace only works when I run a jumper between R and W. Replace wiring to furnace. I suspect that the outside blower motor is the problem. When furnace is running the blower motor has a humming sound but does not blow air. At this point, I would like to know how you would diagnose a Tjernlund HSUL-J blower motor. My Rheem Corsaire furnace is short-cycling. It ignites, the burners stay lit the fans run for a while then the burner shuts off, the fans run until the cooling oft temp is reached then shut off. Right away the furnace starts right back up. It does this until it reaches the temp the thermostat is calling for. I had a problem with the flame sensor last year, but then the burner would light and then go right out.

Hi, I have Lennox gas furnace Model G12Q3E-82 (about 30 yrs. old). When running the A/C, I noticed there was water leaking or dampness around the bottom of the furnace. I also removed some water that accumulated in the bottom of the frame that wraps around the blower motor and fan wheel. I bought a Dayton 5K907G 1/4 HP continuous duty, single phase motor from Acklands Grainger. I installed the motor in a downdraft sanding table with a fan blade on it. I had it wired by an electrician for counter clockwise rotation. If the motor has any load on it it runs for 2 seconds and then quits for 10 seconds and back on for 2 seconds. I used a heavy duty extension cord and the motor is grounded. I am wondering if there is an adjustment on the motor for maximum load. The fan blade is rated
